Mora of Sweden Garberg Black Carbon Knife Leather Sheath 13100

The Morakniv Garberg Black Carbon brings the option of a high carbon tool steel blade to this full tang Mora design. The first full tang release from Mora, this Garberg has a robust scandi style blade with a leather sheath for belt carry. 

The Blade: The Garberg comes with a thick scandi ground blade which can easily tackle most outdoor cutting tasks. Meeting user requests this version comes in a high carbon tool steel with black DLC coating and comes scary sharp direct from the factory. Being a bushcraft design Mora chose to grind the spine of the knife flat for use in fire starting while using a ferro rod. The black Diamond Like Carbon coating is highly durable and adds protection against corrosion with no appreciable increase in thickness.

The Handle: This knife comes with a tough polyamide handle molded around a full tang blade with a light rhombus pattern for grip. There is a lanyard hole located towards the rear and everything is well rounded for great control during use.

The Sheath: A leather sheath is included with this version of the Garberg, and has a large top cover which is easy to access yet holds the knife securely in place. This sheath is designed for right handed vertical carry.
