Details

The Wayfarer 247 Drop Point is a custom-tech version of the ever-popular Olamic Cutlery folder. The excellent, ergonomic design, high-level fit and finish and premium materials on the Wayfarer make for a reliable EDC you'll want with you 24/7. While most of the knife is made in the USA, there is some machining done in Italy. This version comes with a satin finished, drop point M390 blade, Frosty finished titanium handle with triple dot Zirconium/TiMascus inlay pattern and Mammoth Tooth stripe, matching blue hardware and sculpted backbar.

Brand new directly from Olamic Cutlery.

Blade: The Drop Point blade is made from premium M390 stainless steel for high level wear and corrosion resistance delivering exceptional every day performance. A long swedge paired with the high saber grind gives the blade a fine, piercing point and the Satin finish is classy, clean and refined. The blade rides on bearings for outstanding action via an integral flipper tab which acts as a guard when open.

Handle: The ergonomic handle design locks the knife into the hand for secure use and all the edges are contoured to reduce hot spots. The titanium is 'Frosty' ice finished with zirc/timascus 3 dot inlay pattern and an accenting blue Mammoth tooth stripe inlay with complementary blue hardware. The titanium frame lock has a steel lock face insert that holds the ceramic detent ball and has a tab that doubles as an over-travel stop. A polished, blue anodized sculpted textured floating titanium backspacer has "WAYFARER 247" and the serial number "T1321" on the inside. A nice lanyard hole cutout is included on the back of the handle along with blue anodized titanium hardware which match the backspacer. Includes an Olamic soft sided zipper pouch, Olamic pivot tool and certificate of authenticity.

Carries via a right hand, tip-up Frosty Blue titanium pocket clip with ceramic tension ball.

Bohler M390: Bohler M390 has become an extremely popular choice for high-end user grade knives thanks to its extreme edge retention. M390 also has a good corrosion resistance, meaning most users can avoid problems by simply wiping off their blade after each use. Another great feature of this steel is its ability to resist burr formation during sharpening. Comparable steels are CTS-204P and Duratech 20CV.
