Olight Perun 3 Midnight Blue (Cool White) 21700 Headlamp Right-Angle Flashlight

Pitching a tent after dark, the Olight Perun 3 in Midnight Blue drops to red so nobody loses their night vision, and a proximity sensor pulls Turbo back when the headlamp swings close to the fabric.

• Midnight Blue Anodized Aluminum Body - A deep Midnight Blue anodizing over aluminum, cut with grooves around the head and tube that hold a wet or gloved hand without slipping. The body carries an IP68 rating against water and dust and a 1.5 meter drop rating on top of that.

The Olight Perun 3

The Olight Perun 3 is a right-angle light that happens to wear a headband, and that order matters. The body clips to a pocket, sticks to a steel beam, or drops into the headband bracket, with the beam aiming forward while the weight hangs back out of the way. Olight built that bracket to take the light from the front and release it the same way, so it comes off the strap one-handed. A groove milled into the bracket lets the pocket clip stay on while the light is mounted.

Perun 3 vs. Perun 2

The Perun 3 adds a red secondary emitter in the center of the array, with two output levels and a red SOS, which the Perun 2 did not carry at all. The white side went from a single emitter to three, output climbed from 2500 lumens to 3000, and the cell grew from 4000mAh to 5000mAh. Low-battery warning moved from a vibration pulse to a tri-color indicator in the switch.
