The 1000/6000 Dual Grit Pride Abrasive 8" Aluminum Oxide Water Stone is made from high quality bonded aluminum oxide. The 1000 Grit is a good place to start for general sharpening when you don't have edge damage and delivers a coarse edge for aggressive slicing on a plain edge blade. 6000 Grit is a fine finishing stone for general sharpening delivering a fine satin finished edge fast. This one comes with a high quality wooded box for display or storage.
