The 3000/8000 Dual Grit Pride Abrasive 8" x 2" Aluminum Oxide Water Stone is made from high quality bonded aluminum oxide. The more compact size of the 2" wide stone offers a more convenient and portable size for travel. The 3000 Grit is the next step after 1000 grit for general sharpening and delivers a slightly finer finish for general sharpening. 8000 Grit is good for finishing for general sharpening, delivering a fine satin/polish finished edge fast.
