The Prometheus Lights Beta QRv2 is a sleek, simple and functional every day carry flashlight with a simple user interface and compact, easy to carry design. The Beta Magnetic QRv2 is a "mule" light that utilizes a C360 Brass quick release (similar to the Prometheus Kappa) for fast access key ring carry which also turns on the 40 Lumen Yuji BC3030 G04 LED (4000K). This Limited First Run version is type three hard anodized Spruce Grey aluminum. First production run of 1000.

Operation: The Beta Magnetic QRv2 has a simple user interface: simply pull the Beta Magnetic off the QR and you get light. Put it back on the QR and the light shuts off. You can also untwist the head a 1/4 turn to shut off the light...just like any twisty light. A single output of a modest 40 lumens can sustain for 2 hours delivering plenty of light for close up detail work or walking in the dark. Yuji BC3030 G04 LED (4000K) delivers best-in-class color rendering at 95+ CRI with the extended 15 step CRI measurement. There is no beam shaping via optic or reflector on this "mule" just a perfectly even, extra wide flood of light

Body: Made from solid 6061-T6 aluminum with Type-III hard anodizing the Beta Magnetic QRv2 is tough while maintaining a very light weight. The Beta QRv2 carries via an innovative quick release made from brass with a stainless steel split ring for key ring carry. 

*NOTE: Alkaline batteries release corrosive gas during discharge and are prone to leaking. Either one will destroy your light. Alkaline battery damage IS NOT covered under warranty. 

You can use lithium batteries, but NOT lithium-ion rechargeable. GP NiMh rechargeable batteries or Pale Blue are recommended for best performance.
