• MagnaCut Stonewash Drop Point Blade - Magnacut is a stainless steel that resists rust and holds a working edge at the same time, a pairing that used to mean giving up one for the other. The stonewash finish keeps scratches from standing out, and the drop point grind slices clean.
• Smooth Black Anodized Aluminum Handle - Machined 6061 aluminum scales make up the handle with no liners inside them. The slabs are finished smooth under black anodizing, and the Brend logo is milled into the face of one side.
• Coil Spring Action with Recessed Button - The button sits recessed into the handle against an accidental firing, with a milled relief around it so a thumb lands on it without hunting. Press the button and the blade fires hard with a sharp snap you feel in your palm. Lockup is solid with no play side to side or up and down. The same button releases the blade.
• Small Deep-Carry Clip & Lanyard Hole - The short black clip pulls the knife low in the pocket, leaving little more than the button showing. It rides tip up on the right side, and at about the weight of three AA batteries this full-size auto is easy to forget you have. A small lanyard hole at the end of the handle takes a cord or a fob.

The flat grind opens material through the belly, and the long spine swedge thins the point enough to start a cut. It is cut and ground in the USA by Protech, a family shop building knives since 1999, in batches small enough that each one gets hand fit before it ships.
