This Protech Brend Classic wears a Walter Brend blade profile in stonewash MagnaCut. It is a drop point that slices and pierces alike, with a black diamond textured aluminum handle and  push button automatic action.

• MagnaCut Stonewash Drop Point Blade - MagnaCut is a premium steel which shrugs off rust and holds an edge like a tool steel. The blade runs a stonewash finish and flat grind beneath a long swedge that thins the spine toward the tip.
• Black Diamond Textured Aluminum Handle - A repeating diamond crosshatch is machined across the 6061 aluminum slabs, a mild texture that grips the palm. The Brend logo is milled into the show side, and a lanyard hole passes through the end of the handle.
• Recessed Button Automatic Action - The firing button sits down inside a milled relief in the scale, guarded against a knock in the pocket while a thumb still finds it without looking down. A simple press fires the blade out the side hard and fast.
• Blasted Hardware & Deep Carry Clip - Mounted tip-up on the right, the small deep carry clip keeps the knife low and quiet in the pocket, with a firm bite on the seam. The button and pivot hardware both have a media blasted finish.

The Protech Brend Classic is a full-size push button automatic folder built on a blade shape Walter Brend worked out at the custom bench. The flat grind opens material through the belly, and the long spine swedge thins the point enough to start a cut. It is cut and ground in the USA by Protech, a family shop building knives since 1999, in batches small enough that each one gets hand fit before it ships.
