Description:
This snappy collaboration between Emerson and Protech Knives is lightweight, tactical, and just plain cool. Protech executes the classic CQC-7 with their typically flawless automatic construction. This version is fresh from Blade Show and features a G-Carta scale and two-tone tanto blade. G-Carta is notoriously hard to machine, and Protech did an amazing job getting the scale smooth and letting the colors pop.
Crucible 154CM: Originally developed as a stainless bearing steel, 154CM is an improved version of 440C with added molybdenum that offers improved resistance to pitting from corrosion, higher hardness for better edge retention and toughness similar to 440C. Similar to Hitachi ATS-34.
