This snappy collaboration between Emerson and Protech Knives is lightweight, tactical, intimidating and just plain cool. Protech executes the classic CQC-7 is their typically flawless automatic construction. This version features a stylish, high performance Camo burled black/brown G10 front scale, thicker 7075 black anodized aluminum backside with integral partial back spacer and a chisel ground, Two-Tone DLC 154CM blade.

Blade: A classic Emerson chisel ground Tanto blade features a super sharp plain cutting edge and Emerson Knives logo. Equipped with a two-tone finish, the front of the blade is finished with a fine satin on the flats and black DLC on the grinds with the back of the blade fully DLC coated. It has all the look and feel of the classic Emerson with a finish you'll definitely appreciate. American Made 154CM stainless steel offers a good combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and easy field sharpening. The jimped thumb ramp adds traction and provides good indexing. The blade deploys in a flash with a simple press of the button located just below the pivot screw on the show side of the handle. That button also locks the blade in place when in use. To close, simply press in the button again and fold the blade back into the handle.
Handle: Smooth yet rugged black/brown Camo G10 forms the front scale. Super tough, Class III, military grade, black hard anodized aluminum on the back is milled with an integral partial back spacer to complete the handle. Protech added notching on the spine to extend the thumb ramp off the blade for more controlled cutting. Construction is rounded out with a lanyard hole and bead-blasted hardware.
Carries via an Emerson-style, right hand tip-up, long pocket clip.
154CM: Crucible 154CM is an improved version of 440C with added molybdenum offering improved corrosion resistance and edge retention, as well as a higher level wear resistance.
