Protech Emerson CQC-7A Black DLC Spear Point Blade Automatic Knife E7A3

This snappy collaboration between Emerson and Protech Knives is lightweight, tactical automatic that makes a great everyday carry. Built on a strong, lightweight black aluminum handle framework the CQC-7A has a utilitarian Spear Point blade that flies out the side powered by a button operated coil spring mechanism. This version comes with a plain black handle and black DLC coated, V-Ground 154cm blade.

Blade: Classic Emerson Spear Point blade is V-Ground for solid performance and easy maintenance and features a super sharp plain cutting edge. Coated with a durable, non-reflective and corrosion resistant Diamond-Like Carbon or DLC, the blade has enhanced performance and offers discreet use. It has all the look and feel of the classic Emerson with a finish you'll definitely appreciate. American Made 154CM stainless steel offers a good balance of performance and ease of sharpening. A jimped thumb ramp adds traction and provides good indexing. The blade deploys in a flash with a simple press of the button located just below the pivot screw. To close, simply press in the button again and fold the blade back into the handle.

Handle: 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum offers a superior strength to weight ratio and is hard anodized blade for a discreet, matte finish that also enhances traction in the hand. Ergonomic and secure in the hand, the classic CQC-7 handle will feel like an old friend. Protech added notching on the spine to extend the thumb ramp off the blade for added control. Construction is rounded out with a lanyard hole and matte gray, blasted hardware. Ships with a black nylon belt sheath for optional carry.
