This snappy collaboration between Emerson and Protech Knives is lightweight, tactical automatic that makes a great everyday carry. Built on a strong, lightweight blue aluminum handle framework the CQC-7A has a utilitarian Spear Point blade that flies out the side powered by a button operated coil spring mechanism. This version comes with a black hard anodized handle and bead-blasted, V-Ground 154CM blade.

Blade: Classic Emerson Spear Point blade is V-Ground for solid performance and easy maintenance with a razor sharp plain cutting edge. Blasted matte gray, the blade has a discreet look and subtly contrasts with the black handle. American 154CM stainless steel offers a balanced performance and reliability that you can count on in the field. Jimping on the thumb ramp adds traction and sight free indexing. The blade deploys in a flash with a simple press of the matte gray button engaging the powerful coil spring mechanism for deployment.

Handle: Black hard anodized 6061-T6 aluminum is aircraft grade for superior strength to weight ratio delivered in thick slabs patterned in the classic CQC-7 grip. Protech added notching on the spine to extend the thumb ramp off the blade for more controlled cutting. Construction is rounded out with a lanyard hole and matching matte gray hardware.
