This Protech Godfather puts TechnoCarbo Black carbon fiber inlays in aluminum scales, with a fine-tipped Black DLC blade that fires open hard on a push-button automatic for fine, precise cutting.

• 154CM Black DLC Spear Point Blade - The 154CM spear point blade tapers to a needle-fine tip. It is a mid-grade American stainless that shrugs off rust and comes back to sharp without diamond stones. Hardened to 59 HRC.
• Black Aluminum Handle with TechnoCarbo Black Inlays - Each scale is machined from solid 6061-T6 billet, anodized black, and inlaid with a TechnoCarbo Black panel. The inlay shifts its shimmer as the light moves across it and reads smooth and matte to the touch. Its long grip leaves the hand plenty of room.
• Coil-Spring Deployment & Button Lock - A coil spring loaded on a button throws the blade out the side of the handle hard, locking up crisp with no play. The same button releases the lock so the blade folds shut against spring tension.
• Deep-Carry Clip & Satin Hardware - Satin hardware runs the pivot, the body screws and the black lip pearl inlaid button. Everything reads two-tone against the black scales, except the clip finished black to match. It comes tip-up for right-handed pocket carry.

The Protech Godfather

The Protech Godfather is a side-opening push-button automatic cut on the lines of an Italian switchblade stiletto, and it has been the flagship of the Protech line since 2001. Machined in the United States out of aluminum, the slim stiletto handle carries a coil spring that drives the blade out the side under real tension. Winner of Blade Magazine Investor/Collector Knife of the Year in 2015, the platform holds the old silhouette, and Protech states the aim as the same visual effect with more cutting power behind it. The bayonet taper brings the blade to a fine point that starts a cut anywhere and keeps slicing once it is in.
