Protech Knives Medium Brend 3 Automatic Black Blade 1321

Designed in collaboration with custom knife maker Walter Brend, the Brend #3 Automatic from Protech is a medium/large tactical folder that has an elegant, sweeping, dagger-ground clip point blade. Made from lightweight and durable 6061-T6 Hard Anodized aluminum the Medium Brend is slim and light enough for every day carry while robust enough for for tactical-utility use. This version has a black DLC coated blade and bead blast grey hardware.

Blade: With a nearly 4" long blade made of American 154cm stainless steel the Medium Brend has plenty of cutting edge for utility task. The long clip and false edge dagger grind makes for an exceptionally fine point that gives this knife high level piercing performance. The blade has is black DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coated for a durable, non-reflective finish that also enhances corrosion resistance. The blade deploys via a button operated coil spring mechanism that is fast and smooth giving you quick access when the seconds count.

Handle: A large 6061-T6 Hard Anodized aluminum provides a comfortable and secure in-hand feel in a variety of grips, accommodating even large gloved hands, and deploys smoothly from the pocket for use. The button actuated plunge lock is durable and easy to operate and bead blast finished to match the hardware for a discreet overall look.

Carries via a single position, tip-up, right-hand, stainless steel deep carry pocket clip.
