Designed in collaboration with custom knife maker Walter Brend the Small Brend #2 Automatic from Protech is an everyday automatic with tactical heritage that has an elegant, sweeping, dagger-ground clip point blade. Made from lightweight and durable 6061-T6 Hard Anodized aluminum the Small Brend is slim and light enough to carry in slacks or dress pants while offering functional utility. This version has a black coated 154CM blade and black aluminum handles with Carbon Fiber inlays.

Blade: The sub-3" blade is made of American 154CM stainless steel offering good slicing performance while maintaining a very carry-friendly size. The long clip and false edge grind makes for an exceptionally fine point that gives this knife a high level of piercing performance while the thin stock offers superior slicing. The blade has a non-reflective, black coated finish that gives the knife a discreet look and enhances corrosion resistance. The blade deploys via a button operated coil spring mechanism that is fast and smooth giving you quick access when the seconds count.

Handle: A 6061-T6 Hard Anodized aluminum handle provides a comfortable and secure in-hand feel in a variety of grips, and is surprisingly comfortable even in larger hands. With a sub-2 oz weight this knife disappears in the pocket until ready for use with a smooth draw thanks to the stylish carbon fiber inlays. The button actuated plunge lock is tough, reliable and easy to operate with a classy satin finish matching the Torx hardware. A hole is milled for inline lanyard attachment.
