Protech and custom maker Les George have teamed up again to deliver his iconic Rockeye custom design in a US made, full production automatic. It retains the same key design features of this custom and has all the modern materials, high tech manufacturing, advanced coil spring mechanism, and quality American production that is the foundation of any Protech knife. This version of has a two-tone, stonewashed/satin CPM-S35VN stainless steel blade, smooth, black hard anodized aluminum handles and blasted hardware.

Blade: A full sized tactical automatic, the Rockeye has a nearly 3.5-inch CPM-S35VN stainless steel blade with high saber grind and forward swedge for balanced performance and durability. Finished with a rugged, wear hiding stonewashed finish on the grinds the blade has satin flats for a subtle contrast and touch of style. Coil spring automatic deployment is fast, smooth and reliable at the touch of a button. George's trademark scalloped thumb ramp offers traction and leverage for powerful cuts.

Handle: Smooth, black hard anodized 6061-T6 aluminum delivers lightweight durability, with chamfered edges for comfort. The clean, simple handle design has a closed back, faux integral construction to protect the edge when closed. Tapering toward the pommel, the neutral handle is comfortable in a variety of grips and has a deep index choil and integral guard for safe use. The button lock is rock solid and smooth in operation. Blasted hardware and a lanyard hole round out the construction.

Carries via a right hand, tip-up, black DLC stainless steel pocket clip.

CPM S35VN: was designed to offer improved toughness over CPM S30V. It is also easier to machine and polish than CPM S30V and the adjusted chemistry makes CPM S35VN about 15-20% tougher than CPM S30V without any loss of wear resistance. CPM S35VN’s improved toughness gives it better resistance to edge chipping.
