Protech brings their quality design and high tech production to this collaboration making this a highly affordable, American designed and produced, tactical utility automatic folder. 7075 Aluminum handles are solid and smooth while the blade is made from 154cm stainless steel for exceptional, all-around performance. The Pro-Strider PT auto is a high quality collaboration that brings the best things from the PT design and Protech's manufacturing to a single knife. This version comes with a smooth handle and a partially serrated, DLC coated blade.

Blade: The iconic Strider PT drop point design is made from 154cm stainless steel and is black DLC finished for a stealthy appearance. 154cm is an excellent working steel proving a good mix of edge retention, corrosion resistance, toughness, and ease of sharpening. The mid-height saber grind offers a good mix of strength and slicing performance that is inline with the Strider design. The partially serrated blade delivers aggressive cutting performance on rope and webbing with a plain edge section for fine slicing. The blade deploys smooth and fast via a button operated coil spring mechanism. 

Handle: The classic Strider handle design is retained and made from super tough 7075 aluminum that has a black, military grade hard anodized coating. This handle is secure and comfortable in a variety of grip positions and helps to keep the weight of this knife under 3 oz. The Pro-Strider PT carries securely via a single position, tip-up, right-hand, stainless steel, deep carry pocket clip. The deep carry clip makes carry of this knife very discrete. 

Crucible 154cm: 154CM is an improved version of 440C with added molybdenum offering improved corrosion resistance and edge retention, as well as a higher level wear resistance.
