Protech Strider PT "The Gathering" USN GXI Custom Edition Automatic Knife

One of our favorite collaborative efforts stepped up their game for the USN Gathering XI in this Custom Edition Protech Strider PT! Protech blends their high tech production with Strider's iconic design as well as some USN toxic green to form this 100 piece Limited Edition. Features black anodized aluminum handle and two-tone toxic green Cerakote 154CM blade.

Blade: The iconic Strider PT drop point design is made from 154CM stainless steel and finished with satin flats and toxic green Cerakote grinds/spine. 154CM is an excellent working steel proving a good mix of edge retention, corrosion resistance, toughness, and ease of sharpening. The mid-height saber grind offers a good mix of strength and slicing performance that is inline with the Strider design. The blade deploys smooth and fast via a button operated coil spring mechanism. Strider logo has been lasered on the front side with Protech logo on backside of blade.

Handle: The classic Strider handle design is retained and made from super tough aluminum that has a black, military grade hard anodized coating. This handle is secure and comfortable in a variety of grip positions and helps to keep the weight of this knife under 3 oz. The Pro-Strider PT carries securely via a single position, tip-up, right-hand, stainless steel, deep carry pocket clip. The deep carry clip makes carry of this knife very discrete. This limited USN GXI run also features "GXI #XX of 100" lasered within the finger groove on the handle.

The black deep carry pocket clip and satin hardware complement the blade and handle accordingly.

154CM: Crucible 154CM is an improved version of 440C with added molybdenum offering improved corrosion resistance and edge retention, as well as a higher level wear resistance.
