This Protech Tactical Response 3 X1 is a full-size push-button automatic for duty and everyday carry, pairing a Sapphire Blue PVD blade with a black Fish Scale frame and an abalone button that fires firm and fast.

• Sapphire Blue PVD 154CM Drop Point Blade - The blade comes up bright, near-electric blue under a shiny satin PVD. The grind runs high and saber, with a top swedge thinning the steel behind the tip. 154CM is a mid-grade stainless that resists corrosion and sharpens easily.
• Abalone-Inlaid Button Lock - Abalone is inlaid in the button face, and one press snaps the blade open fast. That same button holds it locked with no play, and a second press frees it to be folded shut against the spring.
• Milled Fish Scale Aluminum Handle - Rows of overlapping scallops are cut into black anodized 6061-T6 producing a handle that fills the hand. A deep forward choil locks the grip in one position with jimping sitting along the spine and in several places on the frame.
• Black Steel Clip & Lanyard Hole - Finished black to match the rest of the hardware, the clip carries a standard three-hole mount and sets up for tip-up carry on the right side. A lanyard hole passes through the rear of the handle.
