The Protech Tactical Response 4 is a full-size, tactical, button lock automatic that is durable, comfortable, relatively lightweight and fast in the hand. The drop point 154cm blade is simple and functional for both utility and martial use. This version comes with a "Desert Sand" tan hard anodized aluminum handle and Stonewashed finish, 154cm Stainless Steel blade.

Blade: The large drop point blade is made of American 154cm stainless steel which delivers a highly corrosion resistant and durable blade with good edge retention. The saber grind delivers good strength while the long top swedge provides a fine point for piercing and detail work. The rugged stonewash finish on the blade reduces reflectivity and hides wear well over time. The blade deploys via a simple, robust, button operated coil spring which delivers fast deployment when the seconds count. A slide safety offers added security when carrying.

Handle: 6061-T6 Anodized aluminum makes the Tactical Response both tough and lightweight with a 'Desert Sand' Tan hard anodized finish that is durable and non-reflective. Milled finger grooves provide a comfortable and secure grip in the hand with subtle jimping for indexing. A hardened 410 steel backspacer contains a generous lanyard hole and protrudes from the pommel end of the handle for use as an impact tool.

Carries via a tumbled, stainless steel deep carry pocket clip set up for right hand, tip-up only carry. Includes heavy duty nylon pouch for alternative carry option.

Crucible 154CM: 154CM stainless steel is an improved version of 440C with molybdenum added. It has improved corrosion resistance and edge retention as well as a high wear resistance. Add ease of sharpening to the list and you have a great, all-around American steel.
