The Protech Tactical Response 5 is a full-size button lock automatic with a lightweight, durable build and comfortable, design that makes it a joy to use and carry. The drop point blade has straightforward functionality for both utility and martial use. This version  of the TR-5 has a satin finished sapphire blue PVD coated S35VN blade, black fish scale milled aluminum handles with matching hardware and abalone inlaid button.

Blade: Satin finished and coated with striking sapphire blue PVD, the versatile S35VN drop point profile blade comes with a high saber grind for balanced performance and spine swedge tapering to a fine, piercing tip. The button operated coil spring mechanism delivers fast one hand deployment with a black slide safety for added security in carry.

Handle: Tough and lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum handles make the TR-5 easy to carry, while milled finger grooves and fish scale milling provide a comfortable high traction grip in use. A hardened 410 steel back spacer protrudes from the handle for use as an impact tool and allows for lanyard attachment. The simple, robust button lock delivers intuitive operation and secure lockup and added style thanks to the abalone inlay.

Carries via a right-hand stainless steel deep carry clip.

CPM-S35VN: Modified CPM-S30V designed for improved toughness (15-20%) and ease of machining and polishing. Well-balanced for daily use, S35VN has a slight decrease in edge retention and higher corrosion resistance, close to AISI 420.
