Protech Vero Synapse 2 Black Aluminum MagnaMax Stonewash Automatic Knife (3.50" Blade) VERO2101 MM

This Protech Vero Synapse 2 pairs a solid black aluminum handle with a stonewashed MagnaMax blade. It is a full-size push-button automatic built from a Vero Engineering design and ground thin for everyday cutting.

• Stonewash MagnaMax Drop Point Blade - MagnaMax is a premium powder stainless from Crucible built for edge retention, holding an edge about as long as K390 while still resisting rust. Its dense carbides ask for diamond or CBN at sharpening time. The drop point blade is flat ground thin behind the edge, with a stonewash finish over the top that hides scuffs.
• Push-Button Fire & Button Lock - Protech built its name on the way its autos fire, and this one hits that mark. The blade slams open the instant your thumb hits the button and lockup is dead solid with no side-to-side play. Press it again and the blade folds shut against the spring.
• Solid Black Aluminum Handle - Machined 6061 aluminum with a clean, untextured black finish and no scale hardware breaking up the lines. Aluminum keeps the weight down on a full-size frame, and the slim profile sits flat against your leg in a pocket.
• Machined Titanium DLC Pocket Clip - The Vero-designed titanium clip buries the knife low in the pocket with only a sliver of handle showing. A black DLC coating fights wear at the contact points, with the knife riding tip-up on the right side.

The Protech Vero Synapse 2

The Protech Synapse 2 is built around a spear point blade, sharp enough for detail work and tough enough for the daily grind. It carries over the minimalist styling and signature blade groove from the manual Synapse, the first Vero Engineering knife made entirely in the USA. Each handle section is individually machined with a grooved profile, both dangerously good looking and functional at once. A nearly full length open spine keeps the build feather light despite its full size, narrowing down to a small lanyard section near the clip, machined and finished by Pro-Tech out of its shop in Placentia, California.
