Herringbone machined into black aluminum marks this Protech Vero Synapse 2, and the stonewash MagnaMax blade fires hard off its push-button automatic action. The wide flat grind handles everyday cutting with ease.

• MagnaMax Drop Point Blade - MagnaMax is a premium stainless that holds an edge unusually long and resists rust, and the blade is ground flat behind a wide drop point in a stonewash finish.
• Black Herringbone Aluminum Handle - The handle is one piece of 6061 aluminum with a herringbone pattern cut into the surface. The hardware carries a blasted finish. Full-size proportions give a four-finger grip room to spare.
• Push-Button Auto with Button Lock - Pressing the blasted firing button releases the blade, and it locks up crisp with no play once it is deployed. A second press frees the lock, and the blade folds shut against spring tension.
• Vero DLC Titanium Deep-Carry Clip - Machined from titanium and finished in black DLC, the clip keeps the geometry Vero uses across the Synapse line. It mounts tip-up on the right side of the handle for deep carry.

The Protech Vero Synapse 2

The Protech Synapse 2 is built around a spear point blade, sharp enough for detail work and tough enough for the daily grind. It carries over the minimalist styling and signature blade groove from the manual Synapse, the first Vero Engineering knife made entirely in the USA. Each handle section is individually machined with a grooved profile, both dangerously good looking and functional at once. A nearly full length open spine keeps the build feather light despite its full size, narrowing down to a small lanyard section near the clip, machined and finished by Pro-Tech out of its shop in Placentia, California.
