Part of the Remington Heritage Series the R40000 is a classic Drop Point Hunter fixed blade that offers a great balance of quality, affordability and timeless style. The Drop Point Hunter come with a 420J2 hollow saber ground blade, wood handle scales and a high quality leather belt sheath for carry.

Blade: The 420J2 stainless steel blade is finished in fine satin and equipped with a hollow saber grind for optimal slicing performance and durability. A subtle recurve on the edge offers plenty of belly for skinning tasks while still providing good performance for utility work.
Handle: Wood covers are partially milled with a diamond texture offering a comfortable, secure grip and visual appeal. Scales are attached with stainless Torx screws to the full tang construction and adorned with the Remington "R" milled like a shield into the wood. The spine rides proud to the scales which enhances the contoured feel in the hand for added comfort.
Sheath: Carries via a right hand, stitched leather belt sheath with snap retention.
420J2 Stainless Steel: Highly corrosion-resistant stainless steel. Moderate edge retention with good toughness and ease of sharpening.
