Blade: Combination spear and Tanto, the Spanto profile blade is made from American CPM-S35VN for well-balanced performance and low maintenance. Finished in a rugged blasted and tumbled Working Finish the blade has aesthetic appeal while being discreetly non-reflective and hiding wear from use. Rick isn't new to the bali game and is serious when he says he is out to build the best one on the market. The saber ground blade is all performance with a perfect balance of size and weight riding on ultra-high tolerance (less than half a thousandth of an inch...that is 0.0005!) phosphor bronze bushings for smooth, reliable operation.

Handle: Solid titanium handle scales are milled with a traditional hole pattern and delivered in a blade-matching Working finish with titanium inserts bringing the slab construction together. A traditional 'T' latch offers reliable lockup both open and closed. The handles have a solid heft for fast, smooth cycling.

CPM S35VN: Designed to offer improved toughness over CPM S30V, S35VN substitutes niobium for vanadium delivering an increase in toughness of about 15-20% with no appreciable loss of wear resistance. Increased toughness means better resistance to edge chipping. Corrosion resistance is on par with S30V.
