The Blade: The Origin has a CNC machined blade made from tough Nitro-V stainless steel, sharpened to a razor sharp, saber ground edge. The blade is coated with Tungsten Cerakote for a non-reflective finish that enhances resistance to corrosion.

The Handle: The compact handle is skeletonized for weight reduction and includes a hole for lanyard attachment and built in bottle opener!

The Sheath: The Origin comes with a custom molded Kydex sheath with stainless steel ball chain for neck carry.

About Nitro-V Steel: Nitro-V is essentially AEB-L with a dash of Nitrogen and Vanadium thrown in for enhanced performance. What you get is a very fine grained steel that is easy to sharpen, has good edge retention and excellent edge stability allowing for a very fine, high performance slicing edge. Thanks to the inclusion of Nitrogen in Nitro-V corrosion resistance is superb.
