Serge Panchenko brings us the full custom, Third Generation Coin Claw folder! The Coin Claw Gen 3 is a compact, detent slip joint that folds neatly into the size of a large coin for wear or carry. The Sheepsfoot blade opens smoothly with a single hand via the Timascus thumb stud for use. This version comes with a stonewashed finish CPM-154 blade with tumbled, titanium handles and OD Green Ammo Can overlays with Timascus pivot ring.

Blade: The chisel ground, Sheepsfoot blade is made from high performance, American CPM-154 stainless steel, delivering optimal performance for every day tasks with minimal maintenance. The chisel saber grind delivers durability making this a highly utilitarian design while offering the cutting performance of a much larger blade. The Timascus thumb stud and slip joint operation facilitates smooth, one-hand deployment in an urban-friendly design. The matching Timascus pivot ring add a dramatic visual appeal to this innovative design.

Handle: A single slab of stonewashed titanium supports the blade and Ammo Can over Titanium scale and forms the sprung detent bar for the detent slip joint mechanism. The front scale has milled edges for comfort and traction with a hole exposing the Serge Panchenko logo milled on the scale slab. The knife blade folds flush to the slab for secure carry either as a "coin" or as a pendant via a steel ball chain or cord. The Ammo Can overlays are attached via brass pins while the rest of the construction is completed with titanium Torx hardware.

CPM-154: CPM-154 is a particle metallurgy version of 154CM that benefits from the refinement in the PM process providing it with an increase in toughness and easy of finishing. CPM-154 takes a very fine edge and is highly corrosion resistant. Edge retention is going to be on-par with CPM S30V while being easier to resharpen. A great all-around blade steel.
