The Orbit is an amazing collaborative design between iconic custom maker Serge Panchenko and innovative brother duo Grant and Gaven of G&G Hawk Knives as well as the production power house Millit Knives. The Orbit has a Panchenko style cleaver blade with "patinated" titanium overlays and the ingenious Hawk Lock and Detent for amazingly reliable and smooth operation. The Blade: A high performance CTS-204P blade rides on a ceramic ball bearing pivot for smooth deployment via the top flipper tab. The Hawk detent delivers reliable deployment time and time again. The blade is a utilitarian "cleaver" profile with a full height hollow grind that delivers razor like cutting performance. The blade is equipped with a rugged, blasted and tumbled matte grey finish that hides wear from use.

The Handle:Two beefy slabs of titanium make up the frame of the Orbit with dual titanium overlays and a partial titanium backspacer done in a patinated blue anodized finish for a bit of color. The front overlay sports the Panchenko logo with the Hawk's logo on the reverse. A small slide near the pivot disengages the Hawk Lock mechanism which delivers smooth operation and world renowned strength. The frame and 3D machined pocket clip have the same matte grey tumble as the blade.

Carries via a right hand, tip-up 3D machined titanium pocket clip.

About CTS-204P: Made with Carpenter's 2nd generation PM process 204P features very high wear and corrosion resistance with a fine grain structure and high working hardness, up to 62HRC. 204P delivers excellent performance with both coarse and high polished edges. The fine grain structure also makes 204P relatively easy to sharpen and along with the high level of corrosion resistance make this a very low maintenance steel.
