Backstory:
Given to chief brothers of the Night’s Watch and passed down to younger brothers for acts of courage, honor, or commitment to the order, a scant number of tokens was ever minted and most were lost over time. Minted at Winterfell and sent to boost morale at the Wall. From a bygone time when taking the black was an honor undertaken by a courageous brotherhood. Few of these tokens have survived and as the tradition languished their surrounding customs became ambiguous.
Minting process
Treated to look as if it has been handled and circulated, this process is done by hand, and it is both an art and a science, coloring and patinas will vary. No two are exactly the same.
Coins are struck one at a time in the USA using antique machinery and traditional coining techniques. A colorful description is included with history and facts about the coin.
