Minted in a 90 ton knuckle press and sliced the Shire Post Mint "Pizzas of Eight" is a breakable copper coin in the style of the historic piece of eight. Leave it unbroken for a more textured worry coin or break it apart and share the pieces with your friends. This version comes in a tumbled copper finish and includes two Miniature Pizza Boxes for display or gifting.

Breaking your coin

Enjoyable and somewhat addictive, this coin can be broken by hand. Pressing the coin against the edge of something sturdy like a table and bend, then bend back and forth until it breaks. No tools are required though a good filing when finished will leave you with a smooth, beveled edge.

Minting process

Treated to look as if it has been handled and circulated, this process is done by hand, and it is both an art and a science, coloring and patinas will vary. No two are exactly the same. 

Coins are struck one at a time in the USA using antique machinery and traditional coining techniques. A colorful description is included with history and facts about the coin.
