Smith & Sons Axiom Gray Black G10 Blue Liners AEB-L EDC Fixed Blade

The Axiom from Smith & Sons is a compact, every day carry sized fixed blade CNC machined from high performance AEB-L stainless steel entirely in-house. Smith & Sons designed the Axiom to be a highly versatile, utilitarian cutting tool that is comfortable to carry and use making it a perfect choice for EDC. 700 different blade/handle/liner/hardware configurations are available and handle and liner combos can be purchased separately for ultimate customization. This version comes with Gray & Black Layered G10 handles, Blue liners and black oxide stainless steel hardware.

Blade: The slim, sub-three inch, AEB-L stainless steel black is CNC milled with a visually appealing scalloped blade texture. The utilitarian drop point profile is delivered with a nearly full height grind that offers a solid balance of durability and cutting performance.

Handle: Milled and contoured layered G10 handles are attached to the full tang blade over contrasting G10 liners with black oxide stainless steel hardware providing a durable, comfortable and low maintenance platform for use. G10 is nearly impervious to the elements and is easily cleaned with soap and water. An index finger cutout provides a secure grip and an inline hole is milled into the pommel for lanyard (included) attachment.

Sheath:Carries via a hand stitched, vertical leather belt sheath.

Bohler AEB-L: Originally developed for razor blades and described as a stainless 52100 AEB-L takes a very fine edge, is easy to sharpen and is highly corrosion resistant. Edge retention is good with excellent stability (resistance to rolling and chipping) which allows for a thinner edge and better cutting performance. Sandvik 13C26 is a copy of AEB-L.
