Smith & Sons Comanche Darkened D2 Natural Micarta Adventure Fixed Blade

The Blade: Full tang, D2 tool steel come in a full flat grind which delivers great slicing performance while the just-under ⁵⁄₃₂" blade stock delivers a blade that can handle serious use. D2 is a semi-stainless tool steel that combines good corrosion resistance and toughness with an aggressive, long wearing edge. The flats of the blade sport a "Darkened" acid washed and tumbled finish that provides a nice contrast with the satin finish on the spine. The Comanche's slim, drop point profile lends itself to everything from Bushcraft to food prep and everything in-between.

The Handle: Natural Canvas Micarta handle scales are attached with flared brass pins for a very secure construction. The scales are shaped and contoured for a great and comfortable in-hand feel while still being comfortable in a variety of grips. The handles are clean, contoured and refined with lots of details that give excellent control and security during use: Sunburst milled texture, angled finger grooves, subtle pommel swell and unique lanyard groove. The hollow brass pins offer lashing points as well as alternative lanyard options.

The Sheath: Includes a Brown leather adventure carry sheath system set up for right hand carry. Included in the system is a scout carry sheath with removable leather dangler loop and Ferro rod holder.
