The venerable Mudbug is back! Smith & Sons has brought Mudbug production in-house and added some updated features. The resurrected Mudbug looks mostly the same; it is a large lockback Sodbuster with micarta scales. Where you start seeing improvements is the addition of an adjustable pivot, contoured handle scales, and an added stop pin to reduce lockbar slap and compression. The lock is also hand-filed and buffed to ensure secure lockup and smooth operation. Though it is usually thought of as a collector's piece, the Mudbug is a true work knife, so don't be afraid to admire or put it to use.
