The SEAL Pup is a compact option in SOG's high performance fixed blade SEAL family of products. Built for hard use, the SEAL Pup is an excellent choice for the discerning professional, the amateur adventurer or the avid outdoors person. Ready for serious business this blade features 4 mm thick stock, Gray Powder coating, a long ergonomic GRN handle with deep finger grooves and a sweeping clip point blade. This version comes with a gray, partially serrated AUS-8 blade, black handles and a Kydex sheath.

Blade: Made from tough, corrosion resistant, Japanese AUS-8 stainless steel, the blade of the SEAL Pup is a robust 4 mm thick for durability while sporting a mid-height hollow grind and nearly full length swedge for solid slicing and piercing performance. Gray powder coating is durable, corrosion resistant and discreetly non-reflective. The partially serrated section of the blade makes short work of tough, fibrous materials while the plain edge slices clean.

Handle: Lightweight and weather resistant Glass-Reinforced Nylon is milled with deep finger grooves and diamond texturing for a sure grip even when wet. The handle surrounds the tang of the blade protecting your hand from exposed metal in the cold or where electrical conductivity is an issue. A pronounced double guard offers an added layer of security while a generous hole in the pommel allows for lanyard attachment for positive retention.

Carries via a Kydex sheath with nylon drop loop and snap retention.

Japanese AUS-8A Stainless Steel: a low carbon, high chromium stainless steel offers excellent balance of performance: it has good toughness, corrosion resistance and sharpening response with similar edge retention to 440C.
