The Formido is a combat ready fixed blade designed for everyday carry and self-defense. Named after the Roman god of dread, this knife will make your enemies think twice before further engagement. The slim, skeletonized design paired with the custom molded Kydex sheath allows for secure, discreet carry day in, day out. This version comes with a black DLC coated CPM-S45VN construction and black Kydex sheath.

Blade: The modified Tanto blade has been designed for multipurpose use. EDC Utility, Bushcraft or defensive use, the Formido does it all. A high saber grind provides plenty of strength for hard use while still delivering excellent slicing and piercing performance. Black DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) PVD coating on the S45VN blade is wear and corrosion resistant and non-reflective for discreet use.

Handle: The handle is just an extension of the full tang construction with matching coating. The neutral design offers multiple grip options with chamfered, triangular holes, strategically placed jimping and a subtle choil and guard for security in the hand. A paracord lanyard is already attached for added safety in use.

Sheath: Carries via a Kydex sheath with IWB Pull-the-Dot soft loop.

CPM-S45VN: An evolution in Crucible's S30-series, S45VN shows improved edge retention and corrosion resistance relative to S35VN and offers an upgrade to Elmax with better hardness, corrosion resistance, toughness, and sharpness with similar edge retention.
