Designed by William W. Harsey the Spartan Blade Harsey TT or Tactical Trout is a mid-sized fixed blade designed to be comfortable and robust for use in field craft and defense. This version comes with a black coated CPM-S45VN blade, contoured camo linen Micarta handle scales and a black Kydex sheath.

Blade: The spear point blade has a mid-height saber grind and forward swedge offering a strong tip for piercing with a balanced cutting performance and durability. Black DLC (Diamond-Like-Carbon) PVD coating on the CPM-S45VN blade delivers a wear and corrosion resistant finish that is discreetly non-reflective.

Handle: The full tang extends through two contoured and micro-textured linen Micarta handle scales delivering a comfortable and ergonomic grip. The neutral design allows for multiple grips, versatile in utility and defensive use. An attached paracord lanyard provides added safety in use.

Sheath: Carries in Kydex sheath with MOLLE compatible Pull-the-Dot soft loop backer.

CPM-S45VN: An evolution in Crucible's S30-series, S45VN shows improved edge retention and corrosion resistance relative to S35VN and offers an upgrade to Elmax with better hardness, corrosion resistance, toughness, and sharpness with similar edge retention.
