Inspired by the world's "most dangerous bull", the man himself Sal Glesser designed the Bodacious for strength and durability. Spyderco built this beast on a sturdy foundation of skeletonized stainless steel liners, smooth black G10 scales and a broad fully flat ground leaf-shaped blade. Contours melt into the palm for confident cutting no matter how big the job. A compression lock ensures strong lockup in use and keeps fingers out of the way when closing. The Bodacious just might be Sal's toughest design yet!
CPM-S30V: A martensitic, powdered stainless steel with high levels of wear and corrosion resistance. Its chemistry promotes the formation and even distribution of vanadium carbides, which are harder and more effective at cutting than chromium carbides. This gives it a very refined grain, further improving the sharpness and toughness. S30V is a great, all around steel with high levels of performance.
