The Spyderco 3 Blade Clipitool Rescue brings the multi-functionality of a traditional folder with the easy of carry and deployment that comes with modern features like a reversible (right-hand) pocket clip, SpyderHole opening and a liner lock mechanism for the primary blade. Nested steel liners keep the knife relatively slim for every day carry. The tools of the Clipitool Rescue are optimized for EMTs and other first responder personnel.

The Blade: The Primary blade of the Rescue Clipitool is made of fully flat ground 8Cr13Mov stainless steel in a fully serrated SpyderEdge, Sheepsfoot pattern with a 50/50 choil for a high level of control of the blade during use. The serrated edge powers through fibrous materials while the Sheepsfoot profile offers a higher level of safety when working in close proximity to the human body. The stainless steel Liner lock mechanism offers security during use. The other two tool 'blades' are made with the same material and precision machining. One is a liner locking rescue hook, great for removing clothes or boots of an injured person. The other is a slip joint operation hollow ground, flat tip screwdriver.

The Handle: Nested stainless steel liner construction makes for a robust platform that maintains a relatively thin profile. Black G10 handle scales offer plenty of traction in the hand while the tool layout makes for ergonomic handle performance.
