Blade: The fully flat ground, modified drop point blade utilizes a super tough CRUWEAR tool steel. CRUWEAR is a tough carbon steel excelling in wear resistance, compression strength and exceptional toughness. Thanks to the toughness of this steel it is able to hold a very fine, razor-like edge.
Handle: Tough, lightweight FRN with equipped with Spyderco's trademark bi-directional texturing offers security in hand even in such a small package and come in a handsome Dark Gray color. A classic lock back mechanism offers security in use. Paired with the classic back lock the 4-Position Hour Glass clip offers multiple carry options for both left and right handed users.
CPM-CRUWEAR: is a tool steel with wear resistance higher than D2 tool steel, and toughness higher compared to M2 high speed tool steel. Overall, great combination of wear resistance and toughness.
