Spyderco Lil' LionSpy C181GTIP

Another collaboration knife between Spyderco and LionSteel has produced the Spyderco Lil' Lionspy. It is a scaled down version of the originally released full size Lionspy measuring a bit over an inch shorter overall. Based on the SR2 by LionSteel, this Italian made Spyderco version has been modified slightly to include the trademark round hold opener in the blade. The stout blade is composed of Elmax stainless steel and features jimping along the thumb ramp for added grip. A grooved and contoured slab of black G10 forms the front side of the handle while polished titanium forms the backside. A frame lock mechanism can also be found within the titanium backside featuring a steel lockbar insert and lock bar stabilizer. The stainless steel insert helps to maintain overall function over the years while also providing for smooth disengagement of the lock right out of the box while the stabilizer prevents over-extension of the lock bar and can also be rotated clock-wise to act as a safety from accidental disengagement. A deep carry stainless steel pocket clip has been attached for tip-up carry. Packaged in a small Spyderco Zipper Pouch.
