The Spyderco Matriarch 2 boasts a full Spyderedge reverse 'S' shaped blade mimicking the original Matriarch. The wickedly sharp blade is composed of tough VG-10 stainless steel and also has a Spyderco round hole for easy opening with either hand. A front lock with David Boye dent securely holds the blade open and is also simple to close. The handle is shaped nearly identically to the Endura and is made of comfortable bi-directionally textured black FRN. The Matriarch 2 is completely ambidextrous as the black coated clip can be moved for right or left-handed carry in the tip-up or tip-down position.
