This makes for a longer, more capable cutting tool that is still slim and pocket-friendly for every-day carry and hard use. This blackout version lightens the carry load for ultimate cutting power that won't weigh you down.
CTS-BD1N: BD1N a modified version of Carpenter CTS-BD1 stainless steel with higher alloy content including nitrogen for higher working hardness (up to 63 HRC). This is a fine-grained steel with high toughness and excellent corrosion resistance (near M390). Better edge stability allows for a finer edge and enhanced cutting performance. Moderate wear resistance.
