CPM-SPY27: Produced by Crucible exclusively for Spyderco (SPY), CPM SPY27 is a high Cobalt (atomic number 27) steel similar to S35VN. The resulting stainless steel is expected to have similar hardness and corrosion resistance to S30V with toughness similar to S35VN with better sharpening response. An all around well-balanced steel for everyday use.
