This Spyderco PITS 2 non-locking SLIPIT comes with a tumbled titanium handle and satin finished M398 stainless steel blade.
- Blade: Fully flat ground premium M398 steel has a satin finish, trademark Round Hole opener and comes in a pointy sheepsfoot-style.
- Handle: Full titanium construction is skeletonized to reduce weight and allow for its unique operating mechanism. It has a matte gray tumbled finish to hide wear over time.
- Carry: Reversible tip up deep carry pocket clip is fully ambidextrous.
The Spyderco PITS 2
The Spyderco PITS (Pie In The Sky) 2 is an engineering marvel by British designer Mike Read for folks with lock restrictions where they live. Two integral spring arms, which support the blade pivot, flexes as the blade is opened to provide pressure for its notched-joint mechanism to bear against the stop pin. This holds the blade in position during use without the help of a traditional locking system. Pretty cool!
