The Spyderco Police has been a staple classic in the Spyderco line since the 1980s. The Police Model has been renovated through Spyderco's Constant Quality Improvement (C.Q.I.) program and is back and better than ever in the Police Model 4!

Blade: Fully flat ground Bohler K390 steel is satin finished with a razor sharp edge that is going to preform exceptionally well. K390 has edge retention that is around 30% higher than S110V. K390 is also relatively tough but not stainless so some care will need to be taken to prevent corrosion. The Spyderco Round Hole allows for ambidextrous opening and index and thumb jimping on the blade provide a very secure grip.

Handle: The scales are made from textured Black G10, an industrial fiber glass composite laminate, which is tough, lightweight and nearly impervious to decomposition and moisture. The scales are attached to skeletonized stainless steel liners which help to reduce weight while maintaining a high level of strength. The mid-back lock is strong, simple, and ambidextrous making the Police Model 4 a great choice for left and right-handed users.

Carries via a 4-Position, stainless steel hourglass pocket clip.

Bohler K390: Bohler K390 is a cold work tool steel made with 3rd Generation particle metallurgy processing specifically developed to provide the extreme wear resistance and high compressive strength needed in industrial cutting, blanking, and punching operations. K390 is exceptionally tough and free of impurities compared to conventional steels with CPM-10V-level edge retention and increased toughness. As a tool steel K390 is not stainless and requires consideration to prevent corrosion.
