Student of metallurgy Jim Ankerson and custom knife maker Darrin Sanders have teamed up with Spyderco to bring us a capable, all-purpose design that is ready to tackle anything. The Bowie-style clip point is made from CPM-4V delivering a solid combination of edge retention and toughness. Add contoured G10 handles and a handcrafted leather sheath and you've got a perfect knife for camping, hunting and other demanding outdoor endeavors that require are reliable, hard use tool.

The Blade: The CPM 4V blade is ground in a high saber grind which offers better durability than a full flat grind while still delivering exceptional cutting performance. The Bowie-style clip point is a classic profile that has plenty of point for finer work and offers a little belly and plenty of straight cutting edge for all your cutting tasks.

The Handle: The full tang construction supports contoured, black G10 scales attached with stainless hardware. The neutral handle design allows for a variety of grips to suit your needs while still being comfortable for long use. A hollow pin in the pommel allows for easy lanyard attachment.

CPM-4V Steel: Using Crucible's Particle Metallurgy process CPM-4V offers better edge retention that CPM 3V and higher toughness that CPM M4 for enhanced cutting performance. 4V is a non-stainless tool steel and will require added care to prevent corrosion.
