• Black WCC M390 Blade - Böhler M390 is a premium powder stainless known for long edge retention and strong corrosion resistance, though it takes more work to sharpen than softer steels. The grind runs full flat for slicing, the spine is crowned, and a durable tungsten carbide carbon (WCC) coating applied by PVD finishes the blade in flat matte black.
• SOLID Titanium Frame with Dark Matter Polar FatCarbon - LionSTEEL machines the handle from a single piece of titanium using its SOLID technology, then coats it black to match the blade. It stays slim yet gives a secure, comfortable grip, with a marbled black-and-white FatCarbon inlay on the front.
• Reeve Integral Lock - The R.I.L. frame lock locks up solid with no blade play. A hardened steel interface gives the lock bar a steel-to-steel contact point and acts as an overtravel stop. That insert keeps lockup consistent through years of daily cutting.
• Reversible Deep-Carry Clip - Mounted at the end of the handle, the black-coated stainless steel clip rides deep in the pocket and reverses for left or right tip-up carry.

The Spyderco Slym is the Skinny, a LionSTEEL design by Michele Pensato, reworked by Spyderco with its Trademark Round Hole. LionSTEEL builds it exclusively for Spyderco in Italy, pairing a flipper and a Round Hole on the same blade. The whole design chases a lean profile.
