Based on the Nati Amor (Black Snow Customs) custom Sabotage design the Spyderco Subvert is a massive knife with a big, drop point recurve blade that puts four inches of razor sharp S30V in the palm of your hand. While less ornate than the custom version the Subvert is still visually striking with bright, 3D textured Orange G10 handle scales over beefy, stylized titanium liners. The Subvert is a beefy slicer that will cut for days and really makes a statement.

Blade:The 4mm thick, satin finished blade is beefy but with the nearly full flat grind is still an exceptional slicer. The big belly recurve on the drop point blade helps pull materials into the cutting edge and makes the Subvert a great candidate for a folding skinner. The blade rides on a ball bearing pivot for exceptionally smooth operation but use caution when closing to avoid catching your fingers in the path of the blade. The Spyderco RoundHole provides multiple, one-handed deployment options.

Handle:The big handle has clean lines and a comfortable feel with Orange G10 scales over robust, 3mm thick titanium liners. The liner lock is rock solid and offers smooth, reliable operation. A large hole in the pommel allows for lanyard attachment and the knife is completed with custom style pivot and Torx hardware.

Carries via a right hand, tip-up, stainless steel pocket clip.

CPM-S30V: A martensitic, powdered stainless steel with high levels of wear and corrosion resistance. Its chemistry promotes the formation and even distribution of vanadium carbides, which are harder and more effective at cutting than chromium carbides. This gives it a very refined grain, further improving the sharpness and toughness. S30V is a great, all around steel with high levels of performance.
