Designed specifically to meet the stringent requirements of UK knife carry laws, the Spyderco UK Penknife or UKPK is a small, lightweight, non-locking folder that can go almost anywhere you do. The UKPK makes an ideal ultralight folder in any environment. This version comes with a satin finished, plain edge CTS-BD1N drop point blade and black FRN handles.

Blade: Equipped with a high performance flat grind and clean cutting plain edge, the drop point blade meets legal carry requirements in many places thanks to its length and non-locking operation. The trademark Round Hole allows for easy one hand operation with solid stops and a jimped index choil and thumb ramp which help keep the knife open during typical use when gripped.

Handle: Based on the Caly line, the UKPK is comfortable and ergonomic with linerless FRN handles that are resistant to the elements with a checkered texture for added traction. Stainless steel hardware and clip complement the black FRN handle.

Carries via a reversible stainless steel wire clip.

CTS-BD1N: BD1N a modified version of Carpenter CTS-BD1 stainless steel with higher alloy content including nitrogen for higher working hardness (up to 63 HRC). This is a fine-grained steel with high toughness and excellent corrosion resistance (near M390). Better edge stability allows for a finer edge and enhanced cutting performance. Moderate wear resistance.
