Steel Will Lanner Black Stonewashed D2 Flipper Green G10 F35-33

The Steel Will Lanner is a full size tactical folder that still offers every day utility. The Harpoon Clip Point blade is thin for slicing with a fine, piercing point. Made from D2 tool steel and G10 this lightweight flipper is robust and ready for heavy use. This version comes with a Black Stonewashed blade, OD Green G10 scales and Black G10 backspacer.

Blade: A beefy, 3.4 mm thick, black stonewashed D2 blade has a curving belly along the edge for excellent slicing performance. The nearly full flat grind pairs with a harpoon swedge clip point delivering a fine yet robust point for optimal piercing performance. It opens smoothly with an integral flipper tab riding on durable phosphor bronze washers. The dialed in detent offers smooth, snappy deployment.

Handle: Rugged OD Green G10 handle scales offer texture for grip but smooth and contoured edges provide comfort during use. A black G10 backspacer has jimping along the spine for increased traction in the hand and a hole for lanyard attachment. A single, inset, black coated steel liner further reduces the weight and forms a liner lock mechanism for smooth operation and secure lock-up of the knife. This tactical version is completed with black Torx hardware and clip.

Carries via a reversible stainless steel, tip-up only pocket clip.

D2 Tool Steel: D2 is a cold work tool steel that has been used as a die cutting steel since WW II. D2 has a high chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) which gives it greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels making it semi-stainless. D2 offers a good combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance for a good all around knife steel.
